The site was established in January 2000 and the Model Czech™ brand has already matured and positioned itself uniquely in the Czech and Slovak markets as the only British-run models’ website. It is extensively marketed to young models as the best way into the international modelling business. As a result, the site receives approximately 60-90 registrations a month from would-be models. Typically, they are in the age group 16-19 years old, have prepared portfolios and can speak English and/or German.

Good and increasing traffic levels
Search engine optimisation, registration with many Czech directories and advertising online and offline has led to the site attracting over 3,000 visitors in June 2002, the majority being Czech. These levels are growing at approximately 10% per month.

Reliable established business team
The business is operated by 2 former employees of a British model agency who have been resident in Prague since 1996. We maintain the website ourselves and employ a team of scouts who work in clubs around Prague and other towns in the Czech Republic to attract new faces.
